After the newest update my 3DS XL always freezes when I select the Mii Maker icon, when I select the icon nothing shows on the top screen and then shortly after the system will freeze forcing me to shut it down.

I'm in a difficult situation. I'm an American living in Taiwan. I have a US bank account, but our billing address is in Taiwan, as that's where we live. Over Christmas I got an American 3DS and now want to buy games digitally.
I have a US system, but my billing address is in Taiwan. Is there a way to change the country for my billing address? I was asked to enter my ZIP code for my bank, but I don't have one.
I don't know what to do.

Problem With 3DS and Pokemon HeartGold
Hello I am having a problem with my Nintendo 3DS and my copy of Pokemon HeartGold Version for the DS and DSi.
So I got HeartGold about 2 weeks ago, I poped it into my 3DS and it worked fine I was able to run the game fine with no problems I played for about a week on and off until I got too busy and had to stop for a few days. Yesterday I wanted to play but my 3DS wouldn't read the game cartridge. I put the game into the 3DS and the systems says that there is no game inserted. There are no other notifications or pop ups it just says that there is no cartridge inserted.
I believe that the problem is in my 3DS and not the cartridge because I was able I put the same copy of HeartGold into my brothers 3DS and was able to run the game fine with no problems.
I am still able to run all other DS/3DS Pokemon games that I own on my 3DS with out problem. My 3DS only refuses to recognize HeartGold.
Why? What is wrong? I was really excited to have this game and it is very upsetting to have my adventure cut short because of a hardware problem. I would really love an answer to these questions, please and thank you.

Transferred data, now my Pokemon Y save is not compatible.
I had not gotten a new SD card since I bought my 3ds, because until now it wasn't an issue. However, now since I have the downloadable version of Pokemon Y, I felt the need to get a new one. After following the instructions (http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/309/p/430), I went to play Pokemon Y, only to be greeted by the following message: "This saved data is not compatible with this version, so it can't be used. Please see the digital manual for details." After following the directions in the manual, I was prompted to delete my save data, which I refuse to do. Having shamefully spent 70 hours playing the game, with a shiny pokemon and a competitive team under my belt, this is very distressing. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Any subjects in this forum have not been of any help, and searching in other places has turned up nothing.

X and Y Save Data
First I'd like to tell you right off the bat that I downloaded pokemon x off the Nintendo eshop. I was about 70 hours in the game. I had lots of shinies and some poke bank legendaries as well. I have a little brother that loves watching me play pokemon, and he wanted to play pokemon x himself, but there is only 1 save file. Right away I came up with a "genius" idea. Since I had 2 SD cards I thought I could have one file on 1 SD card and one on the other. So I start a file on the fresh SD card, save, then switch cards. When I open the game in the SD card with my file, it's says "the save data is not compatible with this version, so it cannot be used." I didn't hard reset yet, actually I didn't do anything yet because I don't want to mess anything up. Is there any way I can retrieve my data?

DS Multiplayer/Wi-Fi Issue?
When I first downladed The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, I was able to play local wireless multiplayer with my friends, but now when I try to access the "multiplayer" screen at the game's startup, it doesn't give me any options (i.e. "Host a group" or "Join a group"). Secondly, when I try to access "Nintendo DS Connections" in the 3DS Internet Settings, and I try to search for an access point, it does not give me a list of available signals, only a white screen with the purple "Connection # Settings" title on top. It's strange because I'm positive there are avalable wi-fi signals at my house, as I use them on my other consoles.
My 3DS wireless slider is turned on, as the yellow light is on, so that's not the problem. Here are some photos of what I'm talking about:

Eshop download for 3DS
I downoaded Pokemon from eshop to my 3DS. While in eshop, I can verify that it was downloaded, but when I get to the main screen, I cannot find the game. Where did it go? From where can I start the game. My son really wants to play.

How does the game Super Mario 3D Land appear on the 2DS does it just look like Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U. I absolutely love my Super Mario 3D World. I tried a 3DS at Target but it only had New Super Mario Bros 2. I would of rather play Super Mario 3D Land to see 3D effect

I recently downloaded the Mario and Luigi Dream Team from the store. It is on the sd card. It says it will appear in the Extra Data, but it does not. Any solutions?

parental controls
I don't understand the automatic default of internet settings being blocked when you set up parental controls. If you already have the capability to restrict internet usage with parent controls at a more detailed level, why automatically restrict the internet settings? All I want to do is restrict material content (restrict MA). However, in doing so, this requires my son to call me every time he is at a new friends house and wants to access their wifi to get the parental code pin which makes no sense for me to give him. Can this be changed? Am I missing something? I don't understand this automatic restriction of the internet settings.

Nintendo network id issues
So heres the scoop. Today i traded in my 3ds xl for a 2ds. I didnt know about trnasfering the nintendo id, and now I cant link my id to my new system. I had bought and downloaded Fire Emblem Awakening and all the dlc maps for it on that 3ds and will not re-pay for it all again. Is there anyway at all to force this new system to accept my id? Or at least get credit to rebuy the game and all the dlc?

3DS Can't Find *ANY* Wireless Connections - FIXED [Power Cycle 3DS]
FIXED: My husband suggested to power cycle the 3DS, which we did. We let the 3DS battery die, once it was charging we were able to locate all Access Points and connect to WiFi.
However The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniv Ed. still provides no options to select on Multiplayer.
I suggest that Nintendo mentions to customers to try power cycling the 3DS. They only recommend to power cycle the router and modem.

I have had my Nintendo 3DS since October, it connected to my router perfectly fine until I downloaded The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniv Ed on Jan. 30, 2014. (Which involved me updating my Nintendo 3DS Software). The next day when my husband and I decided to play (Four Swords) we noticed I couldn't join or host a game in Multiplayer (No Options/Text). The screen is just blank (no text), so we checked the wifi connection and I get Error: 003-1099. Now I want to point out that all other Wifi systems in our apartment connect perfectly fine, including our cellphones, Nintendo WiiU and my husbands Nintendo 3DS.
I have tried everything Customer Service has suggested, and have done it multiple times. Yes, my Wifi is "Enabled" on my 3DS and I have even disabled it, the light is yellow. I have entered all the information in manually. When I search for a connection there is no "Access Point". Yet when I check on my husband's Nintendo 3DS he see's multiple "Access Points" due to living in an apartment. I did e-mail Costumer Service and have yet to hear a response and I will phone tomorrow.
tldr;
My DS can't find or recognize any wireless connections. When I scan for an access point nothing shows up, while my husband's Nintendo DS does. There is no problem with our router, it has something to do with the Nintendo 3DS.

eshop still down
I noticed the eshop is still not working for me. Has anyone else been able to get through since yesterday? I think the holiday must have had something to do with it. If it was because too many people were trying to set up their new systems it shouldve been back up by now. If its not up later today, maybe Ill try calling the 800 number.

My university's Wi-Fi doesn't support my 3DS connection. Help?
I found out about the out-of-circulation Nintendo USB Wi-Fi Connector. Would this work to get Wi-Fi on my 3DS, and if so, what all do I need to get? Just the USB WFC and a USB cord? Thanks for your help!

I went to support.nintendo and it did not have anything for that specific problem and it is a tad bit frustrating.

Nintendo 3DS data transfer
I have pokemon y on a 2GB SD card and fire emblem awakening on an 8GB SD card. I copied the data from the 2GB SD card onto my computer and currently have my 8GB SD card inserted. Is there any way to transfer my game data from the 2GB to the 8GB? With Pokemon Bank open and all that im afraid im gonna run out of room on my 2GB SD card for any of the extra pokemon stuff so i need it all on the 8GB.
