Hello. This is the first time my XL behaved this way, I was playing the bunny arcade stamp game and it worked nicely but did took a little long to connect to wi fi. Now everytime I do an internet test it won't connect. I tried playing TriForce Heroes and it went black saying somthing was wrong and to hold the power button. I do remember dropping it twice when I went to a game event as it was hanging in my Zelda pouch. I have an original small 3DS and it connected fine but I like playing on the XL better. Can I fix this problem myself or should I send it to someone to fix it? I believe the 3DS is the problem since my other devices do connect. The error code is 003-1102.
Nintendo 3DS XL won't connect to Wi Fi.
Error Code: 007-2673
According to the error code look-up this one says that the Nintendo eShop is currently anavailable. Please try again.
I believe that the only way that you get this error code is when the Nintendo eShop is under maintenance or your internet connection is down and or just not acting right.
Since Feb. 10th at I believe sometime after midnight my time I lost my internet connection for about 20-40 minutes and since then I keep getting this error code even though when I test the connection it is alright.
Now here is where it gets kinda crazy. This only happens when I'm at my home and not somewhere else like my brothers house for example where I can connect and get on the eShop just fine.
Where it says internet when on the main screen of the 3DS after 1st turning it on it will flash between internet then enabled a few times before going straight to streetpass.
Pretty crazy right?
New 3DS XL (No Mii Data)
I just bought the 3DS XL at Gamestop but they didn't tell me to do a system transfer before they took my old 3DS. They only gave me my SD card back..
I called Nintendo and they're doing a transfer from my old machine to the new one so I can get my downloaded content back but what about my Mii? I've had a lot of content built up over the years since I travel a lot and would hate to lose it. Is there anyway to get her back? (Yes I do still have the SD card and a reader where I could feed it into)
Any help would be appreciated.
Move game from one DS to another?
Hi guys,
I bought a new3DS the other day and kept playing Pokemon Red on it.
But it's really stressing me to change the DSes all the time to just play a game.
Is it possible to transfer Pokemon Red to my old 2DS and than to transfer my entire data from my old device to my new one,
without losing that 10 bucks I spend on Red?

What do I do with My NNID now?
Today,My pet destroyed my New 3ds xl (n3dsxl) while I was researching how easily play all of my games at once. Thankfully, I have my old 3ds but, I realized something. Since I was mainly using my n3dsxl, I bought a couple of n3ds only titles. I was wondering If I the titles would stay on my account If I were to switch my NNID to my backup system?
D-Pad Sticking and Clicking
I've had my New 3DS XL for over a year, now (I got it the weekend of launch, so early February 2015). I've taken immaculate care of it but recently a problem has been occuring with my D-pad, specifically the Up button.
After some time of not using the D-pad (meaning, 10-15 minutes), when I press Up on the D-pad, the button doesn't pop back up right away and sticks slightly, and makes a small clicking noise as if something was stuck under it. None of the other directions (Left, Down, Right) do this. After pressing Up a few times or rolling my thumb around the D-pad to press all the buttons a bunch of times, the button pushes and sounds like normal. But, after another 10 or 15 minutes of non-use, the same problem happens again. So far I haven't noticed a lack in responsiveness, and it's not like the D-pad is constantly stuck in the Up position. It's just annoying, but I'm worried that if the problem goes unsolved it could turn into a much worse issue.
I tried Nintendo's official cleaning method for 3DS buttons (turn system off, hold upside down, clean with a clean toothbrush), but the problem persists. Is there any other method I could try to clean the D-pad without opening up the system and voiding my warranty? Is it safe to use compressed air on it? Again, I only got the system a year ago, so I would like to avoid paying the money to ship it to Nintendo to be fixed, or to just buy another system outright (because I'm a crazy person).
It's definitely frustrating because I've had the thing for such a short amount of time and this is most likely due to the extremely wide gap between the D-pad itself and the system casing, compared to almost every other Nintendo handheld. Any advice would be appreciated.
Digital download help
Hi community!
I recently bought the new Fire Emblem: Conquest (hardcopy) and Birthright was included as a downloadable game (I paid for that btw) so I’m trying to redeem the download code and its telling me, “the download code you entered can only be redeemed within the relevant software title. It cannot be redeemed in Nintendo eShop. Please enter the download code within the relevant software title. Error Code 007-1221".
The instructions through the site where I bought it off clearly tells me that I have to go through eShop to redeem it! So, I’m lost.. feedback would be greatly appreciated. I want to get my money’s worth…
Thankyou.
Digital copy of Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest immediately has an error on launch?
Everytime I start the game it goes straight to an error screen and tells me to turn off the power and try again, but I've tried many times to no avail. I've also tried the repair option 3 times and tried deleting it and redownloading it once, and nothing has helped! I think the error code for this is 17-395, but I can't find any information about it anywhere.
My N3DSXL is eshop banned.
I never did anything to cause this ban. I have no Idea how it happened, and dont know of any way to resolve it. The error code i keep getting is 005-5964. I really need help. I just want the ban lifted and the NNID to be deleted. I don't want anything to do with this ban
Will Pre-installed games be lost if sent in for repair?
I've got the New 3ds Pokemon 20th Anniversary Edition and right out of the box there's dirt/crud under myscreen near square middle of my tyop screen. I've tried to use it for a week now and it still bugs the **** out of me. I know Nintendo does these fixes/cleans for free but I am worried I will lose my Pre-Installed Pokemon Games on there. Does anyone know if it's a possibility that my Pokemon Blue/Red will be lost if i send it in for repair?
SD Formatter Tool?
I've discovered that my 8gb SD card that I have in my New 3DS doesn't have enough space for the Fire Emblem: Fates. To rectify this, I have purchased a new 32gb card to transfer data to. However, I encountered a question while trying to swap data between the cards. Nintendo recommends using a SD Formatting Tool on new SD cards, but I never used it to format the 8gb card.
My questions are:
1. What exactly does this formatting tool do and is it necessary?
2. Would the formatting carry over from one card to another in a system transfer?
3. Would the formatting carry over between cards just in general?
Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Can't download separate version of FE.Fates, error code 09-2916
hi there, so i downloaded fire emblem. birthright from the eshop and it turned out fine, although abit long.
Afterwards, i decided to download the other version (conquest) through the game to get the discounted price.
However, the system would download up to ~50% before crashing and showing the error code 009-2916.
The funny thing is, i've managed to download other kinds of dlc (e.g smash bros), even smaller dlc for fire emblem fates as well.
Any suggestions for this particular problem? Doesn't seem like a lot of people have this particular issue too.
Is this the black screen of death?
Hi, my 3DS has been playing up for me these past couple of days. 2 days ago, both, screens kept turning black for a few seconds before returning to my game, then the console turned off with no warning. Then yesterday, both screens turned black, but the bottom one had a message telling me to hold the power button and turn off my console (I can't remember exactly what it said, but if it happens again I will update this with the message).
I have had my 3DS for about 2, nearly 3 years, but I got it 2nd hand (it's a yoshi DS so I'm assuming it was originally bought on release). I've never had any problems before, and had taken very good care of it, keeping it in a hard shell in a soft case when not in use, I haven't dropped it recently (and don't recall dropping it at all in the past).
Is this the black screen of death, death by old age, or maybe just 2 errors randomly happening within days of each other?
And if it's of any relevance, both times I was playing Pokemon OR (in case there's a bug with the game I don't know about)
Nintendo eshop down and loss of funds
I currenlty reside outside the US.
The Nintendo Eshop has been down for almost a week.
Today I could access the store and tried to purchase Pokemon Red version.
After I tapped to purchase, the next screen boot me out, the amount was deducted from my funds, but the "Tap to purchase" button still appeared, which basically means that the purchase didn't went through.
Have anyone meet the same problem?
Does your Eshop works fine?
What can I do?
For context, I reside in Mexico.
Thanks for the help!
20th Anniversary New 3DS - Badge Arcade caused to Glitch and Brick
I got the 20th Anniversary Pokemon New 3DS and transferred everything over from my old 3DS XL. It froze a small number of times during the transfer process, but everything worked out fine in the end.
HOWEVER
I started playing the Badge Arcade on the new system and after a few days, it began to glitch up and freeze with the image on the screen looking "cracked" or "broken." Whenever I would hard reset, the system would run for a few seconds before freezing again. Any home screen changes I made prior to the freeze were reverted back to what they were pre-freezing.
Just earlier today, I booted it up and my homescreen was missing all of the badges I had placed. I opened Badge Arcade, received a message stating that my home badge menu was corrupt and that it would reset, and then it froze. I turned the system off and now whenever I try to turn it back on, I get the blue LED light, but both screens are black.
No hacking or tampering of any form took place. It would appear that Nintendo's own software bricked my New 3DS.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it known? Should I schedule a repair or let the battery run dry, charge it, and try again?
Back of Hyrule New 3DSXL doesnt properly fit
So, back in November i bought the Hyrule Edition 3dsxl, first day it was available actually. I noticed that the entire lower right part part of the 3ds had a gap, and whenever i held the 3ds in my hand or clicked a button i could feel it push in and back out (VERY irritating). It even makes a small gap that could allow dust or anything to slip inside the 3ds. Went back to the EB games i purchased it from and was told thats completely normal.
Now, today, my friend bought a hyrule edition 3ds and my other friend bought a fire emblem fates 3ds. Neither one of their 3ds have this annoying gap, which means either A) the guy didnt know what he was talking about or B) I was lied to. How exactly do I go about fixing this? Will Nintendo send a new back or something? I know its not a big deal but that gap is very irrating to deal with.
Nintendo Badge Arcade Glitch
I had recently purchased 20 plays to get the new Fire Emblem Fates badges, I was doing great and when I got to the last section it froze up, shut off and rebooted. The bunny gave me a redo, and I was good. I was getting better and was about to go to the last panel again and the same thing happened.
I have been with Nintendo for years, and this has not happened before. With all the 3DS "Stability" updates you'd think this wouldn't happen either.
I lost the badges I got and my plays, so I am not very amused right now.... Please fix this error so no one else gets annoyed or worse.
