I just bought an Ambassador 3DS while having my XL on which all my data is stored. I want to transfer the Ambassador games to my XL while not overwriting all my streetpass data, profile and whatnot. According to some posts I read, transfering my XL's data to the Ambassador 3DS would overwrite everything on that 3DS with my XL's data (which I don't mind) but would still keep the Ambassador Program, as eShops and their downloads and balances combine. Then, I would transfer all that back on to my XL from the Ambassador 3DS, thus returning all my XL's data to my XL plus the Ambassador Program. Can someone tell me if that would work and be 100% sure about it ? As I want to be sure before doing anything since once it's done, there's no going back ! Also, if I do what I explained, wouldn't that let the 4GB sd card on the XL in the end ? One last thing, does it matter that the Ambassador Program is expired since it's now 2013 ? I ask because when I go to "Your downloads" on the Ambassador 3DS's eShop, the games are all there but the "redownload" button isn't there (seems obvious since they're already downloaded) but neither does it say "downloaded". It just says "software not available at the moment" or something along those lines... The games are still on the console and playable though, I just want to make sure before doing anything...

SD card not detected
On the 19th, I had downloaded 2 demos of games from the eShop onto my 3ds xl and when I went to play one of them, it said it was not downloaded and I had to redownload it. After trying to do so after a few times and failing, I decided to just delete the demos from the SD card. When I had gone to do so, there were two slots that were blank and had no title as well as 0 blocks. Assuming that those were the two demos that would not download, I deleted one of the two. I went back to my home menu to see if it had worked and all my downloaded games didn't show up in my menu! It had had the legend of zelda: orcarina of time, animal crossing: new leaf, and link's awakening on it and they do not show up at all on the menu. I had tried going to the eShop to see if I could simply redownload the games, but I kept getting the error: 007-2073 Could not access the SD card. However, I can still save things such as pictures to the SD card, so isn't it being detected? I had also tried the SD card on my Wii and computer, both of which it seems to have worked fine on. My 3ds red light dosent flash??
Ok, so let me get started. My 3ds isn't charged, as my charger is broken. So today, i pressed the power button, and the red button dosen't seem to flash. 3 days ago, when I pressed the power button, the red light did flash. Today, I also accidentaly put my 3ds on some oil, it didnt go on the charger port, just the front with the two cameras... Help??

Error 0003-1101 - 3DS XL cannot connect to unsecured router.
My 3DS XL cannot connect to my Motorolla Surfboard SBG6580 even when it's unsecured, I've used the error code lookup, I've power cycled twice, the channel is on 1, and I don't have MAC filtering turned on. What could be causing this problem?

Wii U Deluxe Digital Promotion Code Not Working?

Hello, I've recently just got enough points to pick up a $5 code for the eShop through the Wii U Deluxe's Digital Promotion site, and I'm trying to enter the code I recieved into my 3DS, but I keep getting this message:
"Error Code: 007-1214
The code you entered is for a Nintendo Prepaid Card and cannot be used here."
I don't understand. I read on the site that redeemed codes can work on either the Wii U or 3DS eShop. Do I have to wait for the code to actually work, or do I have to send a message to Nintendo to sort this out?

Pokemon X save inaccessible
Before I continue, I must say that this is completely my fault and could have been prevented had I done my reading before messing with files.
I decided to back up my save in Pokemon X (I downloaded it, and now know I should not have and cannot back up my save), so i copied all the files onto my computer. I played for a bit afterwards, saved, turned the system off. A friend needed a 4 GB sd card, which is what my pokemon save was on. So i figured I could just give him the 4GB to use and put my backup on the 2 GB which came with the 3ds.
Unfortunately due to some anti-cloning measures Nintendo put in I am unable to access my save, and receive the message "The saved data is not compatible with this version, so it can't be used." I am directed to refer to the manual, where I find out that I'm not supposed to back up my save because, well, this will happen.
So, I admit that this was all my fault, but I'd like to know if my 150+ hours of play time are salvagable, or if I should attempt contacting Nintendo.

Problem with eshop funds
I bought a 3DS system yesterday ( 16/11/13), and i tried to add funds to buy a game. i have entered my credit card number then, a message error appeared, it says that ït was a problem with the credit card and the transaction cannot be completed, BUT today (17/11/13) I CHECKED MY bank account and the money, was discounted, but i have no funds on the eshop... i want a refund or something. im from Mexico by the way.

3DS Freezing Issues
I have one of the Regular 3DS models. (Not XL) and have had it for about a year. In that time It's never given me trouble. However, while playing Pokemon Y when I'm in game if I try to return to the home menu (Such as for taking notes or for changing brightness settings) it'll freeze and I'll have to hard shut down the console. I haven't hacked the console (although I haven't updated to the newest firmware due to the extremity of nintendo's response to hacking.) It hadn't been giving me problems while playing X/Y before so why now and how do I fix this?
..Preferrably without updating with that nasty subclause added in. (It's the principle of the matter. It's /my/ console and there's no point in turning my console into a brick since hackers will work their way around that anyway.)

Pokemon Y Save file and the SD card conundrum
Hi All.
I bought Pokemon Y digitally and was unable to download it on to my 4gb sd card because I have other games on it. (Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Zelda.).I had to install Pokemon Y onto a 16 gb sd card that I was using in my phone.
How do I merge the two sd cards so everything is on my 16 gb? I do not want to lose my Pokemon Y progress or Animal Crossing progress. I was thinking the only way to do it would be copying my Pokemon Y data to my computer then overwriting the new 16 Gb SD card with the old data from the 4 GB Sd card. I was then going to redownload Pokemon Y and inject the save file from the data I backed up on my computer.
Has anyone been successful in doing this? Is the Pokemon Y save file easy to access and copy? Please help, I am scared to play my game because I am not sure if I'll have to erase my progress or not. Erasing Animal Crossing IS NOT an option.

3DS Home Menu Locked Up??
When I turned on my 3DS today to play Animal Crossing: NL the Home Menu was locked in a really weird way where everything was working fine except for where the time, date, and play coins didn't show up, none of the menu buttons like the L and R buttons, brightness, friend list, game notes, etc. weren't working and touch any of the games or apps weren't working either and it acts like there isn't any SD card in the system by not loading my folders. Anyone know what might be wrong with the system?

My streetpasses are irregular
I bough a 3DS at launch and later bought a 3DS XL. I still have both and use them to get more Streetpasses. I'd get Streetpasses between my two systems about every eight hours, sometimes just a little bit more. Lately it's been irregular--there have been more hours between Streetpasses. Also, when getting Streetpasses from other people, sometimes I've only gotten them on one system, though I've been carrying both.

System Format 3ds, can't use old SD card data?
So recently I ran into a problem with my 3ds that literally drove me to system format my 3ds.
before I reformatted my 3ds I turned off the power and removed my old SD card.
I know it deletes all the system files except for the E store account and that i'm able to redownload my games.
My question is, will I be able to use my old save data and Mii plaza on my old SD card? or will I have to start everything over fresh.

Error Code 009-2913
now, usually i buy hard copies of my game, so i've never really had to worry about this kind of thing before. however, the new ace attorney game, dual destinies, was download only, and from the start i was having issues with it. mind you, the other few times i downloaded something from the eshop went fine, the most recent being the patch for my pokemon x, which i downloaded not too long before this game. with dual destinies, though, i've always seemed to have problems downloading anything
after purchasing it, downloading the game itself took several tries over two or three days, and finally i got it after putting my system in sleep mode to do it. however, the game has dlc, which i can't seem to get. the one i've been trying to download is a free minor dlc, so i haven't been as concerned about it, but recently they added an extra bonus case to the game, which is gonna cost me, and though i really want to play it, i don't want to pay for something i can't even get.
everytime i try to download the dlc, it looks like it's going fine until it hits a certain percentage (it changes each time) and freezes for a long while before the error code 009-2913 pops up. i'm out of ideas and i'm really starting to get frustrated with this. like i said, i had no problems prior to this game, so i'm not sure if it's just the game itself giving me problems. (and i've checked with my other friends who have it and they've had absolutely no problems with it.) please help if you can, thank you!

3DS won't stay connected to any Wifi
Hey all, I've been playing on DS systems for a couple years now, but I'm having trouble using the internet on my 3DS. I have successfully scanned for and connected to several wifi networks at my college campus, and I can use the internet browser just fine. The blue bars in the upper left hand corner even fill up all the way. However, when I try to use the internet on my copy of Pokemon X the internet will work for roughly 3 minutes and then cut out, saying "the connection was interrupted". I have used both my college's wifi networks as well as trying Connectify on my laptop, but the result was the same with each try. I know it's not the internet's fault as my laptop works fine. Any help into how to fix this would be appreciated.

Pokemon Y Patch 1.1 Bug
Hello,
Recently I have updated my version of Pokemon Y to Ver. 1.1 via the eShop on my 3DS XL.
When I start Pokemon Y I keep getting this message:
"The saved data is not compatible with this version, so it can't be used. Refer to the electronic manual for details."
On the bottom right it state Ver 1.1.
I decided to call Nintendo tech support at 1-800-255-3700 today but I was told that I had to delete my saved data to resolve this issue and I for one find this to be totally unacceptable.
That in itself is beyond stupid. 
I don't think I have the willpower to restart from scratch certainly not with something like this
Why can't you have Cloud saving Nintendo ! The future is today, things like this should NOT even be possible we are not in the 1990 where faulty cartridge resulted in lost of our saves
Please tell me you can repair this somehow or make a patch to solve this issue because I know of a few others peoples that have this happens to them while searching the internet for this error...
You told us that playing Pokemon would be safe yet there was the Luminose City bug and now this
I don't think I can enjoy playing anymore unless you add something like Cloud Saving or something to recover our save if they get bugged.
