3DS won't connect to internet

Hey guys, I'll try to keep this brief. My 3DS won't connect to the internet. I have my Wii and PS3 working fine on a wireless home network (as well as this PC). I entered all the correct info (WEP Key), re-entered it several times in case I got it wrong. I don't have a MAC filter enabled. When nothing else worked I hard reset my router and tried it without any security settings, and it still didn't work (I assume this means it's a problem with the router somehow). I was able to connect to an unsecured wireless connection when I stood outside (a neighbors connection) so I know it's not the 3DS.

I have a Linksys wrt54g wireless router. While I do have several devices using the wireless connection (two PCs, PS3, Wii, and the Xbox 360 is hooked up via ethernet cable), there's usually only 2-3 being used at once, so I don't think that could be a problem.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Formatting system memory Re: "built-in software save data"

I'm thinking of formatting the system memory of my 3DS XL because I want to reset my Activity Log data. I'm aware that it will erase stuff, but it's not clear to me what it says when it said it will delete "built-in software save data". Is it referring only to the save data generated from the usage of the built-in software, or does it refer to the built-in software themselves? And if so, is there a way I can regain those built-in software after reformatting? And will I still be able to play the game pre-installed in my SD card after I reformat the system memory?

Transferring from bigger SD card on 3DS to smaller on 3DS XL?

I've been thinking about getting a 3DS XL lately, and it comes with a 4 gigabyte card. Since I've primarily been using my 3DS, I got a 32 GB card for it and have since installed ACNL and MH3U on it. My problem here is that if I were to transfer my data over, what happens if the SD card is too small? Could I just insert the bigger SD card into the XL and it would automatically register? I really need to know this before I make the decision to buy. Thanks in advance!

It keeps telling me the details were not entered correctly, even though they are entered correctly. The bank that issued the Visa is CIBC and there are enough funds in the account.

Squeaky hinges on 3DS XL

My Son has had his 3DS XL for a couple months now and he noticed that when he closes or opens his 3DS it make a squeaking sound along the hinges and on the back side of the device. The 3DS is fully functional and it doesn't seem like any functional problems are going on. But is the squeaky hinges a problem?

PREPAID CARD PROBLEM!

So, I just recieved a prepaid Nintendo eShop card. I was using a coin to scratch it off, and the numbers came off with it! They all are a bunch of unreadable, blurry numbers, and I need help! Anybody have an easy way to make them less blurry, or how can I exchange it for a new one without so much hassle?

3DS xl nintendo zone errors

I had my 3ds worked on by Nintendo.  Before the repair the Nintendo Zones worked fine.  I had to send the 3ds back 2xs o to problems.  The first time they fixed a problem, but it came back with another.  Well, the time is always off now and it can't pick up anything from New Leaf at a Nintendo Zone.  I get the error # 03-3205.

I would like to get the new stuff advertised, but the zones no longer work.

 

Mybe they need to offer this from the Nintendo town online as a backup option.  Best Buy seems to be broken more then it is working.

3DS won't turn on the way it should.

So before this, I was having problems that my 3DS won't open any applications or programs on it. Now, I left it alone for a while, and when I try to turn it on, The blue light will turn on, the screens would brighten black, but it won't load. And when I turn it off, I have to hold the power button. It doesn't seem to be at low battery, not that I've charged it though. So please, does anyone know what's going on???

Hi I have 3Ds but my brother is also planning to buy a 3Ds console as well. Just wondering since I got a specific game cartridge/game (e.g Mario 3D land), does he need to buy another Mario 3D land in order to play on his console. I mean it'd save a lot if we could share the same game on both consoles!

P.S : All my games are cartridges, I have no digital downloaded games

Nintendo had said in a Nintendo Direct that Flipnote Studio 3D would release this summer. Well, it is past summer now, and this game hasnt realeased yet. Whats going on here? Was it part of the many games that was delayed for 2014?

Low sound on my 3DS XL

I just traded in my Nintendo 3ds for an XL and the sound is a LOT lower than on the smaller 3ds. Is this normal? Do we really have to trade screen size for sound?

Animal Crossing New Leaf saving

Up until about a week ago I had no isues whatsoever with my Nintendo 3DS or my copy of ACNL, which is a physical copy. Then once when trying to save, it just sat on the saving screen for a good 10 or so minutes before I just decided to shut it off. I tried saving again on my friend's system and it worked fine. Then I tried saving a different game on my system and that also worked fine. But for some reason my copy of ACNL won't save on my 3DS in particular. Any solutions?

Power button weirdness...

I just turned on my 3DS for the first time in a couple days... I pressed the power button like normal, but the unit would not turn on.  I pressed it again... still no power.  I pressed it a third time and it powered on.  Since that happend...if I leave my 3DS off for any extended period of time... it takes two button presses to get the unit to power on.  After that, however, it will power up and down normally.  Any idea if this is cause for alarm?

I have tried everything imaginable to get it to connect it finds the access point which it couldnt do before but now it wont connect at all no matter where i go in my house please give me somemore suggestions and i already changed the dns settings and it didnt really do much.

I was playing my Animal Crossing New Leaf on my 3DS XL today and suddenly it froze, the touch screen turned bright magenta and the top screen got lines through it and slowly began to fade out. Since it wouldn't respond I had to shut the system off. It took the system a few minutes to respond and shut off. After I turned the system back on and tried the game again everything seemed fine. Then about 5 minutes into the game it froze again, the touch screen turned yellow and the top screen had lines again. I haven't turned the system back on or tried any other games because I'm afraid of losing game data or something.

 

I'd like to know if any one has advice or knows what could cause this before I try another game or consider sending my system in for repairs. It's a new system I just got this year so I'd hate to find out something is wrong that needs to be repaired. I inserted an image of what happened last time incase my description of the issue isn't helpful enough. I don't know if this is a system issue or a game issue. The game is a physical copy, not downloaded.

no matter how many places I go to it always come up with the same error that it can't connect I got it from someone I know and it only worked like 2 times can any body help me
