So I did a system transfer just last night, source system was my AC:NL 3DS XL to my new (target system) Legend of Zelda 3DS XL. I also incorporated a new 32GB SD card with my new 3DS so I can store more digital content on it. So on the source system, AC:NL came preinstalled, and not a download code like Link Between Two Worlds did. On my target system, AC:NL appears on the home menu but it prompts me to redownload it again on the e-shop everytime I try to access it. When I go to the eshop and check my Settings/Other > Your Downloads , it does not show up on the list, but there is a grayed out box that says N/A, which is included as one of my 6 "Downloaded Titles". When I also go to the AC:NL page on the e-shop, it prompts me to purchase it unfortunately.
I also already talked to Nintendo support over the phone just a few minutes ago, they said that they can't find any history of the license for AC:NL on either system, or anywhere else I guess. (BTW. support was terrible, he kept implying I was lying about owning NC:NL, it was an absolutely abyssmal experience)
Support said that they would pass it onto their administration (whatever that means), and also to not get my hopes up, so now I feel just hooped.
This doesn't seem like a common problem since my source system was a limited edition 3DS, but it might be for people who tried the exact same thing that I did. Can anyone provide me feedback/help? I would really appreciate it, thank you!
