I purchased the cartridge of Alpha Sapphire on Nov. 21. I just beat the Elite Four, but I'm experiencing a serious issue with the credits freezing. Whenever I get to an image of May and my shiny Sceptile fighting Wally, the music plays until the theme ends. The first time I saw this, I though it would fade out, but it doesn't. I hold the power button down, and then reload my save file... Each time I do this, it takes me to the cutscene of Steven walking me to the Hall of Fame! I've tried this four times now without being able to exit the credits. It always freezes here. I found another example on Reddit of someone who had the same issue and also had a Sceptile. I doubt that it relates to the Sceptile, but the two Pokémon I used to battle the E4+Champ were bred and transferred from Y.
I haven't experienced any issues with my 2DS prior to this. Could it be a bug like the one in XY last year?
