I bought Bravely Default about 3 weeks ago, and because of the silly addition to the game where you are rewarded for idling in it, I went for the past three weeks without checking my plaza for street passes (or even turning off my 3ds at all). I tried launching the Mii Plaza yesterday, having finally completed Bravely Default, only to be stuck loading the game for forever.
The exact situation is as follows. I boot up my 3ds, select the Mii Plaza option, and then wait for hours as the Nintendo 3ds screen sits there with the red "ripples" pulsating from the top left and bottom right of the upper screen. I've left my 3ds plugged in and on for something like 20 hours today, as I left in on while I slept and then went to work. I was hoping it was just slow to load, but when I got home it was still stuck on the same screen.
I did a SD card data transfer a long time ago, and thought trying a different SD card would help. When I tried to copy the data to my computer for transfer, I was informed that several of the files could not be moved, unfortunately without any further details.
I think the Mii Plaza data on my card may have been corrupted. No other game I have on the card appears to have any issues from what I have seen (they all boot up and allow me to load my latest game). Is there a way for me to repair the Mii Plaza data, similar to how you can repair games through the eshop menu? Or if not, is there a way I can save my mii plaza street pass data from getting wiped if I delete and reinstall the application?
