This happened ~24 hours ago, for no apparent reason. I didn't transfer 3DS. I didn't download any new software.
It hasn't seemed to affect any of my Cart based street passes, And the one digital title I have (Bravely Default Demo) hasn't been affected negatively.
The Blue "Software Update" light *might* have been flashing, but I *really* don't want to deal with Nintendo's Customer Service where I've heard the horror stories (that even exist on this board) of "HAH, not the SD card it was shipped with. [removed inappropriate content]" or "Please system restore your console. Oh you had DLC? Sorry you'll have to rebuy it."
Please someone tell me there's something I can do to manipulate this thing into working again *without* having to do drastic things like wipe my console or the entire memory card.
I've already "taken the official steps" and *de*activated the Streetpass for Mii Plaza, but I *can't* move on from there because the next step is to *re*activate it, but the software won't launch because of this thread's title.
I'm completely lost, and I don't want to lose the only communication method I had with a few people.
