So, I have had my 3DS since it first came out, however I never had a nintendo club account linked to it. I had purchased retail titles like fire emblem and mirror of fate off the e-shop. I just now made a nintendo club account and was wondering if I could redeem my points off the titles that I had already purchased off the e-shop before I linked my account to it. I haven't switched 3ds's or anything just the addition of linking. Is it not possible to gain points if I purchased before the account or can I still redeem them? Any help would be appreciated. I was looking on the support forums for something like this but cannot find one that is specific to my situation. I didn't buy any special bundles or anything, just a plain 3ds with 3ds games I purchased individually from the e-shop.
