Parental Control Settings, some options not appearing
My nephew complains of headeachs when using the 3d on the system, so he never uses it. But he keeps accidentally turning the 3d on when hes playing the system. I go into parental controls, and the "Display of 3D images" option does not appear for me to enable or disable it, is there any reason why this option is not in the parental controls?

Data Loss : SSB4
So, i've bought SSB4 about a month ago. Since then, I had lots of good badges for my Mii fighters, unlocked all characters, and unlocked Panel 2. Last night, I copied SSB4 to another SD card because my other one was almost full, and I booted up SSB4 on my new SD card. I wait for it to load, but I get: Unable to acces save data because it is not the latest save data. Would you like to create new save data? At first I was scared, so I it on my old SD card. I clicked OK, and ALL of my stuff was gone. I opened SSB4 on my new SD card, and clicked NO. The it said: Unable to access save data. Please turn off the power and try again. So I turned the power off, and booted up SSB4 again. It still said the same thing, and I can't play SSB4 now. So, how do I fix this?

Downloading data from game to 3DS?
I recently rented a 3DS game from my local library, and I love it. The thing is, I don't want to lose my progress and I have to return the game soon. The data is saved onto the cartridge. Is there a way I can download the save data only from that game cartridge to the 3DS? Then I would be able to pick up the game where I last started after I actually purchase it. Thanks in advanced.

How to recover data from a SD card?
My 3DS SD card got lost when I lend it over to a friend, I had many photos and game purchases. I went to "Your Downloads" on the Nintendo eShop, I am able to recover most games (excluding Four Sword and Minis March Again, why???) What can I do about the games I can't download and the photos???

Error code 022-5550
Hello sir/mam
Its been a week already, i haven't been online in my 3ds because of that error. I thought it is only in nintendo side. I tried today and im still getting that error. Eshop, Pokebank or my Nintendo network id. I cant access any of it. Can anyone provide a solution for this? Also, am i posting this in the right section? For my internet, im using a proxy address because of that 2101 error code. Thanks for the help

N3DSXL's R Button is becoming unresponsive
After owning A N3DSXL since launch and playing MH4U on it very regularly, my N3DSXL's R button is starting to not register that I'm pressing it. Sometimes it'll work just fine, then suddenly it'll stop registering that I'm pressing it. Cleaning the area around the R button really doesn't seem like it'll help, since there's nothing dirty to clean off of it.
Anyone else ever had this problem? Any other ideas I could try before asking to get it repaired?

Odd characters in Pokemon GTS
Today, I was browsing the GTS for the new pokemon Hoopa, just to see if the event Pokemon was allowed in the GTS. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was, and more so to see the trade offers. I discovered several seemingly identical trade offers from a trainer with no name, but a character portrait of Steven. The comment they all put for their trade offer was "nerdattack.net" which redirects to a German facebook merchant page.
My question therefore is, are these Pokemon hacked into the GTS? The trade is offered by a nameless character after all. Trade is impossible too, as all the trades are for Genesect which cannot be traded over the GTS.

Internet Browser Error but no error code?
I am using 3DS at a public place and my 3ds usually just connects fine as soon as I go to internet browser and click "Agree to Terms" to the public wifi spot. Today I tried doing the same thing and this is the message I get when connecting..
"The Internet Browser cannot be used at this time. Please check your network enviroment or try again later."
What does this mean? Is there something I am doing wrong? I am not tinkering around with any settings or anything. It has no error code and I have been searching for an answer on Nintendo, but to no avail.
Can someone please help me? I feel I am the only one recieving this error.

Hacked Pokemon
Does Nintendo has any plan to tackle the Hacked Pokemon problem nd fix issues with the PokeBank and PokeTransfer?
I have a Japanese 3DS with XY and ORAS (yep all four), and was able to get different Event Pokemon while living in Japan. Now I want to trade the spares event I have (for having multiple catriges) and discover that it is almost impossible to be sure another Event Pokemon is not a Hack? Searching in the internet and in foruns like reddit, neoseeker and facebook I discovered some things:
- You can check to see if the Information of the Event Pokemon matches the information in websites like serebii and bulbapedia, but this is not a garantee since hacked pokemon with this information can be "made" with devices like cybergadget and powersaves.
- The only way to know if a Pokemon is a "legit" is to use a hacking technique like PkHex and compere a "legit" one with the candidate.
- There is no way to differentiate, even with PkHex, a legit pokemon from its clone, people who trade "uncloned" Pokemon do that based only on trust (sometimes with videos and photos of the person getting the legit pokemon, but nothing prevents the person from cloning afterwards).
- Even legit Pokemon from older games do not pass over PokeTranfer as they are considered hacks, and I was planning to get some pokemon from a SoulSilver Pokewalker to my ORAS - but that may not happen.
So, I can trade legit Event Pokemon and (time consuming) breeded Pokemon for hacks and I do not have any way to know 100% sure through legit means, i.e. without a hacking technique, that I am trading them for legit Pokemons or Hacks.
So, Nintendo could implement a in game checker for hacked pokemon, maybe using the same data that PkHex people use to check hacked pokemon, or at list implement a filter that REALLY prevent hacked pokemon from trade, online battle and send it to PokeBank. Also fix PokeTransfer so it let legit Pokemon to pass.
What is Nintendo and Gamefreak response to this? After all I spent money in the 3DS, spent money in the Games, spent money in the PokeBank and spent money going to places in Japan to get my legit events.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire not starting - black screen
This happened a while ago but I'm just reporting it now.
Whenever I try to start my Alpha Sapphire (game card) game, it goes to the Nintendo 3DS logo, then goes to a black screen. It stays like that and never actually starts the game.
I can still view my Pokemon in the box in Pokemon Bank although I can't transfer them due to not buying a pass, but there's no way for me to erase the save data on the game card. Is there any way to be able to use the game card again?

New 3DS XL believes game card is taken out of the system, but it wasn't
I recently got the New 3DS XL a while ago, and it seems to have a problem recognizing a (arbitrary) game card. I might be playing, then I might close the 3DS, and an hour or two later I would open it again and see the black screen with white text; "The Game Card was removed. Press the HOME Button to return to the HOME Menu," when the game card was still properly in the system. Also, sometimes it takes multiple times trying to insert a game card before it is recognized. Is this a problem with the 3DS System that requires me to get it repaired? If so, how would I go about getting those repairs?

I have a question, was the rubber on my Auqa Blue 3DS needed, or is it just a Trival thing and will my control stick still be just fine? If i need to take a screenshot to show what i mean please let me know. I just wanted to know if my 3DS Control Stick will be ok otherwise.

HELP super smash bros 3ds help needed, more than 3 people I get kicked
when I play super smash bros 1v1 or 2 player match I'm fine there is no lag whatsoever and I know this is not my wifi because it worked perfectly fine on my old ds on the same wifi, but when I join 3 or more player matches I either get automatically kicked and it saying communication error or halfway through the game it freezes for a couple minutes and gives me communication error please help. This happens every single time and I want to play 4 player

Shiny around the "A" Button... any advice?
Hi, I have the 3DS XL Gold Edition with the matte black finish. I must have accidently touched the A button with something on my thumb or either the finish is prone to showing wear. It's shiny black around the A button and showing a tiny amount around the X button. What can I do to make this disappeaar? I've tried using water, water and Dawn detergent, a little alcohol, screen cleaner, you name it, all with a q-tip and all with no success. I admit it's not a huge deal, but this is one of the collector editions so would like to get it off if possible. As far as I can tell, this just happened today. Any advice on how to get this oil gone or is it a problem in the way the matte finish was applied, or normal from use? Also, before anyone tells me to use gloves when playing, lol, I keep hand sanitizer on my end table and use it everytime I pet a dog, eat, drink, or play games! In other words, I'm a clean person, wash my hand frequently ( and not just with the sanitizer ), and the 3DS is perfect in every other way. I've googled the problem and have found results such as using a Mister Clean Magic Eraser and " it will go away by itself". Can anyone help? Thanks so much for any advice or info.

My New 3DS XL Button Isn't Working.
Ever since i got my new 3ds xl the X button hasn't worked very well, and now I have to press really hard for it to even register. My R button wasn't working on my old 3ds and i was able to send it in with the warrenty, but when I try to start a repair it says I have to pay $85. I've only had my New 3ds XL for about 9 months. Where do I go to set up the free repair?

Downloaded game won't appear on home screen
Hi! My friend sold me her old DS and she told me I could redownload a few games from the eshop. All of them loaded just fine, no error codes or anything, and all of them appeared as little presents on the home screen except for Pokemon X. It's not showing up at all. I even tried downloading it onto a new SD card but nothing shows up. Anyone know what's going on?

StreetPass notifications for Mii Plaza but no way to go to gate?
I did a lot of traveling today and got notification after notification of visitors at my plaza, as well as the notification dot on the game. But when I opened it, it went right to the plaza and didn't let me attend to the gate. Going to the gate isn't even an option!

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Explorers of Time not working on N3DSXL
I bought the New 3DS XL, seeing as its my first 3ds, it was a good way to start. I recently tried my old DS games in it, all of them worked except Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. The 3DS recognizes the cartridge immediately, but when I launch it, it says "An error has occrred. Press and hold the POWER button to turn the syste, off. Please refer to the operations manual for details" I know the game isnt fake, because the serial numbers match on the back and the front. I just really want to finish this game because i'm so close to the end D:
