3ds transfer question

$

0

I don't know if this is the place to ask this but here's my situation. I have a regular 3ds with my Nintendo ID on it. I bought the digital version of Pokemon Y the day it came out and I've since put nearly 800 hrs into it. I have completed my Dex, maxed out the o powers, you name it. I just acquired a 3dsxl today and I want to transfer my Nintendo ID and content onto my new 3ds. Will I lose my saved game and all my items and pkmn in the transfer, or will I also have them in my new 3ds? If anyone can please answer this I'd appreciate it.

So I have been trying to connect to the e-shop today and it has been giving me the Error Code 005-4305

When I looked up the error code it means that e-shop is undergoing maintenance.

Is this also happening to everybody else?

3DS eShop crashing console (no error code)

This weekend, I was able to use the eShop just fine but on sunday or monday, my console auto-deleted my Smash Bros demo and would start crashing when I tried to get into the eShop using my 3DS. I can still access eShop on the Wii U but every time I try to get on with the 3DS, my console crashes, giving no error code but telling me to visit the support website. My 3DS is the first generation, standard sized, Aqua Blue. I seem perfectly able to access the web browser too, it's just the eShop that crashes my console.

Bonjour!

(merc à l'avance)

A question about nintendo network ID and preinstalled games

A friend of mine bought her 3DS with a pre instaled copy of mario kart 7. She created a nintendo network ID but now she has moved countries so her nintendo network ID won't work and she wants to make another. In the support section here says that to change it you have to format the console, but in the process of formatting she will lose her preinstalled game (mario kart 7). My question is: If she was to format the console, then go to e-shop and make a new  nintendo network account in her new country, Will she be able to download mario kart 7 from the e-shop? Since the game (mario kart 7) was not tied to the NNID but to the "console" itself, it "should" let her download it, but we are not sure. Any one of you guys knows how this works?

Missing game

So when Animal Crossing NL first came out I had my sister pay and download the game onto the system. It didn't have any network id or a nintendo club id. Up until now,9/23/14 I had signed up for a nintendo club id. When I did all the downloaded game on the system like Animal Crossing NL and Super Smash Bros. 4 Demo got deleted. I then went into setting to see if the games were still there, they weren't. I then tried the eshop, wasn't there either. I thought that my SD card got corrupted when I signed up for nintendo club, move the data to my desktop, reformat, and move it back in but to my surprize, nothing. When I downloaded Animal Crossing NL I had thought that the game was in my console forever until I deleted it from it, I was sadly mistake. When I created my nintendo club id, everything was lost, including Mii Plaza update. I reupdated my Mii Plaza and everyone was still there, sadly my game are gone forever because I signed up for nintendo club. Anyone have any suggestion what I should do to fix this?

I created a nintendo network id to get the demo but then unlinked it because it was annoying to handle. The conformation email never came so I didn't want to bother with it. I have not yet called nintendo about this because of the time. If I were to give them my 3ds system code will they be able to track it and find the purchase or will I have to give them my sister credit card id to find the game?

A very complicated 3ds question...

Hello everyone.
So, this is all because I really want to play my profile on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Get ready.
I first played it on the 3ds. It was great. Then my brother, long story short, broke the top screen. Being the teenager he was, he wanted to fix it himself. He actually got close, but just gave up. I didn't care that much to play it anymore, so I let bigons be bigons.
Then I got a Wii U. And, of course, I bought MH3U. So now I had a friend over with his 3ds so we could play together and he could transfer my data from the broken 3ds SD card to my Wii U via my friends 3ds. Well, found out my profile is NOT on the SD card.

So, here is my question. I think my saved data is on the broken 3ds' internal memory, but the 3ds is broken. Is there another way to pull that information off the internal memory, or would I have to make the broken 3ds work and transfer the MH3U data to the Wii U?

Any and all help will be very appreciated.

Smash Bros Demo save file corrupted

I just upgraded the 4GB SD card that came with my 3DSXL to a 32GB micro  SD (in a SD converter), so that I'll have room to get Smash Bros  digitally when it comes out.

The data transfer was easy and all  my games still seem to work and maintain their save files, but when I  run the Smash Bros demo it says my save data is corrupt and that it's  making a new save file. It does this every time I relaunch the demo and  it didn't do it before I upgraded my SD card (as far as I can recall). I  tried deleting and re-downloading the demo including the save file, but  that didn't help.

Since there isn't much of a reason to save  data in the demo, I'm not super bothered by this, but I am worried about  it possibly being a problem with the actual game when it comes out, or  with other 3DS games I have.

Anyone know what's up?

Never recieved PokeBank Celebi?

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right place or not, but I made a customer service request at the Pokemon Support Center website, and it said I needed Nintendo support. I'm not sure if this is "official" enough to count, or where I would need to go.

Long story short, I never got the Celebi from Pokemon Bank. I can provide info to a mod as needed, but feel it best not to post in public if I can afford not to.

I've used the bank multiple times and stored many Pokemon on it, though it's empty at the moment.

As I understand it, it was supposed to show up automatically on the second use of the Bank, but it didn't.

Would this be where I go? I didn't see a 3DS games forum like the Wii/Wii U and DS have...

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong place!

Smash Bros. demo doesn't load on 2DS; freezes system.

I gave my fiancee one of my promo codes, and the demo downloads just fine, but when you open it, it just goes to a black screen and the whole system freezes. You have to completely power it down.

I tried deleting it and redownloading it (repeatedly), to no avail. To see if it was the SD card, I moved her data to a new SD card, then downloaded the demo again. Same problem.

As another test, I downloaded some other demos (Bravely Default, Cooking Mama, Marvel), and those played just fine.

So now I'm out of ideas. Anyone else having this problem?

Problems after upgrading to 32GB Micro SD card

I just upgraded my 3DS to a 32GB micro SD card. The upgrade went smoothly but since then I've had some issues. First off every time I launched the Smash Bros demo it would say the save data was corrupted and rewrite the save file. After deleting and re-downloading the demo twice this seems to have stopped. But now upon opening my 3DS from sleep, about 60% of my downloaded games become rewrapped as though they had just been installed. I've tapped on them to unwrap them but it keeps happening.

What might the problem be? Could the Micro SD card be loose in the SD converter? Could the card be corrupt? Did I format it improperly? What should I do to troubleshoot this?

Downloaded vs. Game card save

I recently misplaced my game card for Pokemon Y. I downloaded the game so I wouldn't lose it again, not realizing until afterwards that downloaded games don't work with save files from game cards, even if they're the exact same game. My questions are:

-Is this true? (I have not done any sort of system transfer)

-Can I put just the game on a different card without transferring anything else (either through system transfer or by deleting and re-downloading on another card)?

-If I delete the game, will that also delete the game card's save file? The game itself may be able to tell the difference, but I'm not sure other software can.

-Just a double-check: the save file will still work if I buy a replacement game card, right?

Region problem, help?

I've bought my 3DS just for one game and today it was released but I have a huge problem, my region is set to the United States while I don't live there and my country isn't listed it's asking me for a zip code, but where I live there is no zip code! And I'm guessing that if I used a visa that works in this country I should buy eshop cards, right?

How can I solve this problem?

I've also searched on google and people recommend me to try to put random numbers as zip. But it's illegal, correct?

And thanks in advance! 8D

3DS L button and right/down directional pad appear to be stuck

Recently my daughter was playing her older brother's 3DS while we await for a replacement top screen to arrive for hers.

While she was playing it, the L button along with the right and down directions on the directional pad began to appear to be sticking. Though I thought it unlikely that it was a physical problem with the buttons seeing as they all went at once, As this system was out of warranty I went ahead and took it apart and verified by powering the unit on with the L button disconnected from the motherboard, and it still appeared to be stuck by the indicator on the top home screen. I also peeled away one of the contacts on the directional pad side and there was no sign of any short. I also unplugged and replugged in all ribbon cables for good measure. Still no change when powering back on.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what this problem could be, since it doesn't seem to be physical? Could it actually be an issue with the bottom touch screen? Cracked motherboard? I tried to get into the recalicration menu by holding L+R+X on powerup, but it just goes to the home screen and then straight to the camera.

Pokemon X code expired

I registered my game and even redeemed the Pokemon X during the promotional offer, But I didn't have space in my 3DS at the time. I thought I was able to get the game since I picked the game already. Is there a way to get my free game? I really wanted to play Pokemon X... The Code I have is still there, but when I putn in the code, it said it's Expired. Is this really fair?
