Hello all, being my first post here on the forums, I come bearing bad news about something that just happened.
My Animal Crossing New Leaf cartridge stopped functioning correctly, and it comes as a shock to me considering the fact that I take very good care of my games.
I looked at the gold contacts for any gunk that needed to be cleaned and also blew into the cartridge slot, but it didn't help.
But one thing that stood out, was the nicked/chipped part of one of the white plastic dividers on the cartridge (Refer to picture for reference). I'm assuming this is the source of the problem and upon experimenting, the cartridge does read when pushed to a certain depth, but doesn't read when it is fully locked into the slot.
Has anyone ever had Nintendo fix their 3DS cartridges? And if they did, will the saves still be intact?
