Hail, all!
I was hoping someone might be able to assist me. I just picked up a 3DS XL Link Between Worlds Edition, which is awesome, but an issue has started to emerge on my top screen. There seem to be patches of areas where the screen is just far too bright. It started out very small at first, towards the bottom of the screen. I figured it may have just been edge lighting and my eyes not quite adjusting to the 3d effect, but then it started becoming more wide spread as I played. I've only had it about a week and it's now covered almost the entire bottom section of the screen and stretched up the middle left side a bit.

It's a bit hard to tell on the white screen, but very distinct on the dark screen. Has anyone ever experienced something like this before? Any ideas on what I can do to fix it? I was hoping it would kind of alleviate itself over time, but it just seems to be getting worse. I've tried looking in the support section, but none of the subjects really seem to match. The closest was a topic on blotches, but that just leads to a $100 repair option (I just dropped $240 on this this guy and not really looking to bring the total up to $340 just to get it working correctly). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!
