Hello Nintendo! I just upgraded to the 3DS XL from the regular 3ds at Gamestop earlier. I wanted to do an in-store system transfer but they told me that as long as I had already registered my regular 3DS and had a new Nintendo Network ID, than I could skip the system transfer process at the store... which would save me time as long as I had the SD card backed up (which I did). I tried to get into the E-shop with my Nintendo Network ID login to re-download the software I had previously bought, but I got an error-code (022-2591) which states " The Nintendo Network ID has already been linked to a system in the 3DS family (my old one, obviously)" but when I use the error-code search in support it says I have a hotspot issue. How long does it usually take for the NNID to clear off of reformatted trade-in systems?
