An Ongoing 3DS Issue

It's another 3DS connectivity problem, but I haven't seen anyone with my issue that I am having yet. So as my story goes, for the past two weeks, I have been having terrible connection problems with my 3DS to the Internet (error code 003-1099). I have already done all of the basic stuff, like resetting the router, unplugging and waiting, manually setting up the 3DS and even changing channels on the router. If I do change the routers channel or unplug it, the 3DS will connect, although, after a period of time from 2 hours to a day, the connection will randomly drop and not connect again (unless I unplug or change the channel). Everything else in the household connects perfectly with no random drops. There are no 'disturbances' in the area either. I have spoken with a Nintendo tech for help earlier, and even he had no proper answer to give me other than try one of my previous tactics that would later fail again.

This problem is very annoying as you could guess, random drop connections during wifi gameplay is pretty annoying. I have not tried going anywhere else and waiting for the duration of time to test the problem elsewhere. Could it perhaps be my system (which sounds silly)? All advice is welcomed, because I am completely baffled as what to do.
