Miiverse trouble!

After several attempts to connect and download the latest update last night which added miiverse (it kept giving me a communication error, making me restart my DS and then go back into the update to continue where it left off, even though my internet connection was working fine otherwise)  I find myself today unable to open the shop, which someone else seemed to have mentioned in another post.

Perhaps even more frustrating is the fact that miiverse continually loses and drops the internet connection.  Twice, now, I have finished drawing something to add to a community, and both times when I hit "post", a message pops up saying that miiverse had an error, and my options are to reload, or close miiverse.

If I hit close, I lose the post.  If I hit reload, I also lose the post.

I'm really frustrated because this keeps happening, and I don't know why.  My internet connection is fine; I've been streaming from my computer all night.  I don't know why my DS now is suddenly dropping the connection (or whatever it's doing that causes the miiverse error).  Also, I had hoped that maybe it would save the posts somewhere because the posting obviously didn't go through, but actually,  I can't seem to locate either of them anywhere, so I think the DS just ate them.

So ... first of all, there's no where I can find those posts, is there?  I spent a lot of time on them... T_T

Secondly, why the heck is my 3DS unable to stay on miiverse for very long without error?  Especially when posting?  Why does it give me this message to "close or reload miiverse" ?   My internet connection is fine on other devices...

'tis frustrating.  I want to jump right in to miiverse since I love it on my Wii U, but I'm paranoid if I try to make another post it'll just get destroyed again. ;_;
