I desperately need some help on this, because I'm afraid of losing my file or having to send this off. I'm almost done with the game... anyway.
I just bought the special edition Zelda 3DS, on 12/3, got the new game, yeah cool. I'm sitting there playing ALBW, when suddenly it freezes (specifically, I was in Lorule -- Swamp Palace area). A few seconds go by as I stare at the screen in shock and then the black screen pops up saying "An error has occurred, yada yada yada, press the power button to restart your system." Ok, whatever, I did what it said to do. I go back to trying to play it, it goes past the initial 3DS logo screen, and then the black screen pops up again. Strange... I press the power button again, but this time I keep it off for a second. I wait for about a minute then turn it back on and try again, but now it gets to the 3DS logo screen and won't go past it. The screen isn't frozen, the red echo(?) lines are still moving, but it won't go past it and none of the buttons work. Also, I had to hold down the power button for a little longer than usual to turn it off from that screen. Tried again, same result. Waited two hours, tried again, still stuck on the 3DS screen. UGH. I officially cannot play my new Zelda game.
I have my suspicions that it may have something to do with the SD card, considering that it only bothers one of the programs stored on it. I have ALBW and Youtube stored on the SD card and Youtube works just fine. All of the other programs work fine as well. I put Fire Emblem in there and it worked just fine.
EDIT: Upon further reading, I see that it also might be that my ALBW is corrupt for whatever reason. Is there a way to fix this?
Please please help. I love this game ;___;
