My mom bought my little brother a Cobalt Blue 3DS with the Luigi Mansion: Dark Moon game (pre-installed) as a Christmas present, and my 3DS is a little over 2 years old (Aug. 2011) and it is slowly starting to die, so I want to put my Ambassador Program games on my little brother's 3DS, since I rarely/never play them. The only thing that I don't want, though, is to transfer my info over. I have about 2.7 million steps on my 3DS and have met like 200 people, so I don't want to transfer that stuff over, so my question is, will I be able to reformat my system and then transfer the stuff over? I've googled it for the past week, and it keeps coming up as an iffy subject, some say it does work, and some says it doesn't. Also, will I be able to transfer the stuff over, without deleting the Luigi Mansion: Dark Moon game?
* I have read about the future Nintendo ID update for the 3DS, and they will only allow one 3DS system per ID, so connecting them through the Nintendo ID is out.
