I recently just purchased a new game on the eShop and downloaded it. Once I unwrapped it, I noticed a few of my icons went missing. Turns out a few of my games seem to have gone missing. They still show up under "Settings -> Data Management -> 3DS -> Software" but they have a gray X in the lower right hand of the icon and the block numbers are gray also. Under the eShop Account Activity, it shows the game had been deleted with no option to re-download. I definitely did not delete them.
These games were downloaded all through redemption codes, but other games I downloaded through redemption codes are still working just fine. The three games that got deleted have been working fine for about a month now and after I downloaded a new game from the eShop this happened.
Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a way to restore these games? This is on a New 3DS XL.
