So I have been interested in getting a new 3DS for some while now, but it annoyed me that Nintendo didn't release the smaller size in North America, so I really don't want to buy one anymore unless I absolutly have to (You know, the new Pokemon game requires it or something). That being said, I have been looking into it, and I can get a small new 3DS from the UK for fairly cheap, and I was considering that. I honestly don't mind importing games from the UK, since I don't buy a lot to begin with. But I do have a few questions about the differences between the 3DS's.
Question 1:
Would I be able to transfer my data from my NA 3DS to the PAL 3DS? And would I be able to select the country as Canada, despite the fact that the system is from the UK? If I can do that, does that mean it would be the same as a NA system, minus the fact I need to buy games overseas? Like, would there be any restictions in regards to friends or events and such.
Question 2:
The charger looks weird. Would the PAL system work with my NA charger? If not, what would I need to get to make sure it works? It looked like the plugs were different then what we have here, but it could just be the picture I saw.
Question 3:
If I can do the data transfer, would my Nintendo Network ID work on it alright? I know that, for the Wii U, it won't let you add someones account to it from a different region (USA in this case) if you have one from another region (Canada) already registered on it. But since the 3DS is just one account, it should be alright, ya?
Question 4:
I have a NA download code for a game on my 3DS, would I be able to use it on the PAL system? Also, would the NA games I have on my account that I bought digitally work on the PAL system? Im not to concerned if they don't, just wondering.
