SD for 3DS Recovery Questions

I recently tried to move all my data from my 2GB onto a 16GB SD card. I formatted the 2GB and lost everything, and have succesfully (?) recovered the data missing. I keep trying to get the data back, but the folder I need with my save data, "title" has NOTHING in it.
Do I need another recovery system, or am I missing something?
I had Pokémon Rumble World, Pokémon Shuffle, Pokémon Battle Trozei, Pokémon Bank and Smash Bros save data on the card. I really don't want to lose the time (and money) thrown into them
