Hey this morning my NN3DS had the red light (only just switched from blue to red so wasn't really flat at all) so I closed ORAS and the clamshell (sleep mode) and plugged it in the charged (official charger bought 2 weeks ago) and I notice the lights went off on the system just the orange charge light was on now. I turned it back on only to find I went back in time to midnight 2011 
I was shocked as I know this screws up clock based events in ORAS, ORAS demo and screws up streetpass for previously met systems (I pass my own 2ndary system so this annoys me a lot).
Does anyone know why this would happen? Should I return it to EBgames? Should I wait and see if it does it again? Etc. I am worried the cell is faulty on the battery or the wiring. The charger is on a surge protector so it wasn't a surge or if it was it was a fault of the official charger. Also I went to bed shortly after and woke up to see my systems were able to streetpass again both are New nintendo 3ds one XL one normal size so maybe they fixed the clock issue that glitches streetpassing already passed systems. But my ORAS demo is still bugged and says come back 2moro even though I haven't sent a reward back to game in over a week.
