Here's the issue. I got a black New 3DS XL on release, and transfered my data from my old 3DS. My brother got a red one a bit later and transfered from his old 3DS. However, we both want eachothers' color, I want his red one and he wants my black one. The reason I didn't get a red on at release is because they didn't have any in stock and figured I'd never be able to find a red one, but my brother managed to get one. I told him to get red so that I could go through with my 'plan'.
My plan was to transfer back to my old 3DS, transfer his data from his red New 3DS to my black one, then transfer from my old 3DS to his red one. The problem is that you can't transfer back to an old 3DS from an New one, and I'm not gonna buy another New 3DS just to have a red one. Is there and way we can swap New 3DSs without a 3rd one?
