Hello. I just waltzed in my local Wal-Mart and saw the last red New Nintendo 3ds sitting in the case. yay! Anyway, I purchased it (after purchasing it and cancelling it online) so I could go ahead and get things going and not have to wait on Wal-Mart to ship it to me. They said that would take 7 days. So, I brought it home and transferred all my 3ds XL content to the New 3ds. I have done this before so I knew it would take a while and what mostly to expect. It finished just fine. However, I want to give my old 3ds XL to my sister and transfer her regular 3ds content to my old 3ds XL. But, it said (and I tried anyway) that my old 3ds XL could not participate in a transfer for another 7 days even though it is going to be the target system. I need to sell her 3ds to help make up some of the money for the new one. I can wait the 7 days. I just want to know why (and if possibly there is a work around)they would limit the sytem like that. We own all 3 Nintendo 3ds consoles and it is 2 different network ids (mine and now hers for the 2nd transfer). What is the idea behind it? Thanks for any help.
