Blotch on 3ds xl screen?

Its like a bright blotch under the screen. Like a circle but its brighter in that area then the rest of the screen. What do I do? It's annoying running around in OoT3D and seeing that bright spot. I would post a pic but I believe that might be hard to do due it doesn't show up very well on camera.
