Smash Bros. 3DS Closing Problem

So, I noticed that everytime I close a suspended Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, the game would close successfully, but the HOME Menu would display "Please Wait..." right after and the screen goes black and the 3DS "resets" for about 30 seconds then comes back to the HOME Menu as if nothing happened.

Honestly, it's much faster turning the 3DS on and off when the screen goes black.
