Hi. Sorry for being so behind the times, but my granddaughter has not been able to visit me for many months. She is here now, and I've just learned today that Nintendo no longer supports the wi-fi club in the Pokemon games. My g'dau has a DSi and I have a DSi XL. We have Soul Silver, Pearl, Diamond and White 2 games for DSi. I also have older GBA games, namely Emerald, Leaf Green, and Ruby. Theoretically, we should be able to swap pokemon from the GBA games (using her DSi to access those games), to the newer games but so far, we have not been able to establish a connection between our two units, no matter which games we try.
My g'dau is just 9 yrs old, and the trading thing is still a really big deal to her. Is it no longer possible to trade via a wireless connection? If it IS still possible, can you help us figure out why she cannot get a wi-fi connection on her DSi? (I am internet connected on the DSi XL, but don't know how to sync up with her game.) Any ideas what is wrong? All suggestions/help is really appreciated! Thanks in advance!
