SO, my 3DS, IN THE MOST CRAPPIEST OF CIRCUMSTANCES, was stolen. But, thats not all. I cant get my 3DS back. Why? Well, in the good old US of A, we have pawn shops, and very unique pawn shop laws. Laws that state that once an item is bought, IT cannot be a stolen item anymore. The pawn shop also incurs no penalty and it is NOT OBLIGATED to assit. At all. So i cant even find out who bought it and say, "hey thats mine! can i please have it back?". Police can only take action if i have a serial # to prove its mine. Which, my 3ds due to its age, had the sticker fell off. (interesting fact: i had the #DS repaired several years ago, and i dont know where id access the account information, but it has both my old one and my new one) Then what do they do? they find and arrest the theif. And do nothing about getting it back, again, by the law the dont have to. And considering im 17, and to them its "just a game", and i should "buy a new one" and i was "too old for those things" to begin with, its of no priority. Also, the cops there are some of the most corrupt around here. (Nashua FYI).Thats that. I can't get it back. But what i can do (or hope) is that i can recover my Eshop $, Ambassadors Program, and my Nintendo Network ID. AND i want them to brick it (if they cant get it back from whoever.)
