SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked crashing

Hi, a little while back I purchased and downloaded Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked from the Nintendo eShop. It's great, and I'm having fun, but I've run into a problem.

There these in-game data cards that give you bonuses (skills, in-game money, etc.) once analyzed. However, sometimes the game will crash - more specifically, freeze up, send me to home menu, and restart the 3DS - when I try to analyze the cards. Unfortunately, this happens pretty often - about one in every four cards or so will do this. Naturally, all unsaved data is lost when this occurs.

I've heard various rumors about it through searching online. The first is that there is a patch for it - I found no such thing on the eShop, so if it did exist it's gone now. I've also heard that the game does so less often if you play with the wifi off. Well, I pretty much always play with the wifi off. I've also heard moving or selecting an action before selecting 'analyze' helps - but every single time I've moved to the card, not just stood next to it the turn before.

It happen so often and the general rewards from the cards are so useful that this seriously interferes with 'regular' gameplay. I've had it crash twice today alone, and I'm fed up. What can be done to fix this? It's absolutely ridiculous that such a huge bug is sitting in an otherwise polished game that is itself a rerelease and has been out for quite some time on a Nintendo platform.
