So, I had recieved a free download for pokemon Y. I had just gotten a new 2ds and registered a game, which warranted in the free download. Apparently, somehow the NNID i downloaded the copy of Pokemon Y to had been deleted. I surely did not approve this deletion. There are multiple user agreements to go through, and I'm sure I would have remembered doing something like that. Besides that, I knew that if I deleted the NNID that the game would be unusable, so why would I even do that?
To get down to the root of the problem... I understand that I'll probably have to pay for another download, that's acceptable, but my qestion is; would I be able to use the save data from the other digital copy? That still remained on the system, uncorrupted. So are all the pokemon and hours of progress on that game lost forever? I still have about three different accounts proving I legally downloaded the game on the eShop aside from the account activity, an email, it shows up on my club-nintendo account, and the pokemon global link save data.
And, if none of that made sense, long story short; if I download another copy of Pokemon Y, will I be able to use the extra save data already on the system for that digital copy? I really hope so. That game had some rare pokemon on it that were gotten completely legitamately. No hacking, no clones, no powersaves or whatever. I play completely by the rules 100% of the time.
If anybody could help, that'd be great! Thank you in advance, it would mean a lot! Have a great holiday season.
