Okay so I bought my 3DS XL three days ago. I know on like the first day I had it, I was able to add a friend to my friend list. Since then, I have moved from home into my college dorm room and am using the university wifi to connect to the internet. Now whenever I go to my friends list, it says I am offline, despite and internet connection. It seems to connect fine (aside from the wifi being spotty sometimes), and shows three full bars of connection. I am able to use the internet browser and download stuff from the eStore and I have been able to download updates. Sometimes I get various error codes beginning with 001 which I know means it is having an issue connecting to the internet, but it still happens when its connected. This seems to be a fairly common problem, and I have heard people suggest calling nintendo to see if it needs a repair, although I'd probably just try to return it to Target since I just bought it! Anyway, I haven't found a solution that worked for me, and I wanted to see if anyone has a solution now.
