Hello,
Yesterday when I got home, I saw that there was an update and what not. A nintendo video icon was placed on my home screen. I went and opened it and it said it had to download and what not but I just said No and it asked if I wanted to delete the icon (which I said yes).
For w/e reason, I can't access the e-shop yesterday night. I keep getting the error code 005-4240. I know that this means the e-shop is down for maintenance. However, I checked the server status and it was all fine. I tried again this morning, and I am still getting the same error code. I was able to access it fine before yesterday and had downloaded things from the e-shop perfectly fine before.
If I try to update the system... I get the error message "Error Message: An Error Occured. Unable to Update". I tried again this morning and the same thing happened.
I am still able to get online with my 2DS. I can play mario kart 7 fine and was even able to play against other players.
Please help! This is my first nintendo system since the N64 and I would really hate for this to ruin the experience.
