I signed up for the Pokémon newsletter before the deadline, the code never came. Signed up for some Nintendo news thing that was supposed to give codes, the code never came. Checked with some retailers nearby if they were doing any code giveaways, and they didn't know. (Which is a bit ridiculous, as they should know when they have promotions.) Emailed Nintendo and Pokemon several times, and they either don't email back or the email doesn't answer my question and just gives out general support tips. Every time I try to call Nintendo, all I get is an indication that the line is busy. This is ridiculous. What on earth am I supposed to do to get a code? This is really annoying...
