The old rubber cover of my 3DS circle pad was ripped then torn off. I had to get a new one from eBay. When I got it, there was a problem. It is attached to a plastic knob (as shown in the attached image). I tried to get help from a repair shop, but they couldn't because the pad was attached to a housing that cannot be openned unless it is is BROKEN apart, so forget that option. The only other way I can think of is to CAREFULLY remove the rubber cover from the knob, and then CAREFULLY replace it on the 3DS pad, all without any BREAKAGE of the cover. Can this be possibly done? What special technique and/or tools do I have to use to accomplish this?
