3DS xl Depth slider fell off

I need help here. Today, the moment when i picked up my 3DS xl and tried to slide the slider up to max 3d, the slider just broke off. IDK why, the slider wasn't loose,and I didn't abuse it or anything. But anyway, the 3DS can only be played in 2d now, its just stuck there . I was wondering if there is a way to fix this?
