I bought my 3DS December of 2013. When I opened the box, I noticed a small crack near the middle on the top of the top screen. I thought it was nothing, as it did not affect the screen quality. I played for a week or so, not noticing change. I put the system down and did not actually touch it for a few months; I was busy with sports, school, etc. I picked it back up today, and now there is a crack running all the way down the screen. I did not drop my system or anything, so I suppose the crack is the same one that I saw when I bought the system. I suspect a stress fracture. I do not want to pay money to get this fixed. The one year warranty does not seem to cover damages from human error, however the start of the crack was there when I bought the system.
