So I have had this 3DS XL for just over a year (just out of warrenty of course), and I have had no serious damage or drops to it. Just last night, the top screen started acting really strange. The screen started getting distorted and fading to black. Even after most of the screen faded to black, I could still see a small amount in the lower right corner. Everything else still works fine, and when the screen goes to black, I can still see the backlight is on, and when I switch 3d on and off, I can see the screen flicker a bit as it transitions. I have no idea what this is. Given that I can still see the backlight, and it was still getting distorted, I feel like it isn't completely broken, maybe just a connector is loose. Anyone have any advice or suggestions as to what to try? I am really upset that it stopped working right now (just got bravely default and Smash bros coming out soon).
