If i remember correctly, there are at least two kinds of encryptions when it comes to WiFi: WEP and WPA.
and if i remember right, the original DS could only link up to WiFi that used ONE of those types, and if the wifi used the other type of encryption, it wouldnt work with the DS.
is there anything like that with the 3DS? Is there only a certain kind of encryption type that will work? Im moving out and looking for a router and dont want to get one that wont work for my games.
And on the topic, is there a restriction of the same kind for the wiiu? Ill need one that works for both. Thanks.
