I have the same Nintendo 3Ds as before. I was simply unhappy with the 4 GB SDHC card. I purchased a 32 GB SDHC card to be able to hold more downloadable content. In my arrogance, I guess, I assumed I knew what I was doing. I took out the old card. Uploaded its information on to my computer. THEN I put the new SD card INTO my 3Ds, formatted it, and thus wiped 3Ds of original settings. Lastly, I put the new SD card from my 3Ds into the computer, and transferred the original files onto it. Now, I don't even have the same Nintendo eShop account. I, certainly, cannot bring up any of the original 3ds content (games, saves, etc.). None of my eShop purchases for 3Ds are being acknowledge. I know, now, what I should have done is: not wipe the 3Ds.
Finally, my question: is this reversible? Or have I simply assumed something that shouldn't be so complicated; IS indeed that complicated, and now those assumptions have caused me to lose all of the money I have spent on this service? (On top of all the saved files, games, and rare Pokémon) Please help me to clarify my mistake.
I still have my original SD data on my laptop, as well as; the new SD card. However, I have erased the old SD card. I don't mean to sound angry. I'm just anxious.
