Tried to add $50 to my eshop account and it denied it but took my money, can any one help?

I had gotten a visa prep aided card today to use for something else and found that I had an extra $60 on it so I wanted to add it to my eshop for my 3ds xl but it said that something went wrong and ignored it and tried it again and the same thing happened and it still didn't add the money to my account. A hour later I look at my balance online and saw that I had lost the $50 I tried to add and my account said it was paid to the Nintendo Digital. So now I lost $50 that I need now for something else. Can some one please help me soon.
