After a problem-free trial period, I subscribed to Pokebank. I was able to use the paid service without any problems for one day However, for the next four days, I cannot connect to the Bank servers.
"Communicating with the Pokémon Bank server..."
"Error Code: 006-0112"
"An error has occurred."
"Please try again later."
"For help, visit support.nintendo.com"
I can use the Internet without problems. Other online 3DS features are working fine. GTS, the 3DS browser, and Miiverse are all okay.
I also tried the following to no avail:
- Updating the settings to either auto-obtain, or using Google's DNS.
- Re-installing Pokebank
- Deleting and recreating connection settings
- Turning off the modem/router for an extended period of time
- Moving beside the router
- Turning the 3DS off
- Connecting to other ISPs and WiFi hotspots
I thought this is just a temporary server problem, but this has been going on for about a week now after I paid for the service.
