So, here's the situation.
I bought one of the new Yoshi 3DSXL's, transferred all my data from my original 3DS. 4 days later my 3DSXL stopped working completely. Screen, D-pad, joystick, everything. Naturally, I called Nintendo to find out if I can still transfer all of my things, including my streetpass to the NEW system I bought. I work at a Gamestop and have been playing street pass for a little over 2 years. It was incredibly important for me to transfer all of my things over since that's one of the main joys of me having a 3DS.
They said "Yes, all of your street pass will transfer, I just have to send it to my manager." So I waited another 3 days, finally got off the phone with him and he informs me that, no, all my street pass stuff will be lost. I'll never ever get it back.
I want some clarification as to if that's entirely true because if that's the case then.. I don't even know what to say. You'd think that all of your information would be stored SOMEWHERE, but we don't even have a cloud?
2 years of progress down the drain?
