repair questions

i got my 3ds xl 2 months ago, and we recently got a dog, i think you can see where this is going, but now my 3ds is chewed up and the "R" trigger came off and there are teeth marks all over. the teethmarks don't concern me as much as the trigger because i can't play luigi's mansion without it =P. i know physical damage isnt covered under warrenty, but do you think nintendo will fix it? and if so, roughly how much will it cost?
