I redeemed my pins for my 3DS XL and a copy of new leaf and I got my Pokemon X code etc, but previously to this I installed Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate so I did not have enough room to download X onto my SD card.
The shop prompted me to make space on the SD card, so I went to do that and now the problem is that Pokemon X is not in my download history and my club nintendo to-do list is acting as if I never redeemed it, but when I try to again it gives me a "There was a problem with your order." error screen.
Adding an edit to state that I never recieved the order confirmation email either so I no longer have access to the code requied to download the game, assuming that would even work in the first place.
